This was the first family and Senior shoot that I ever did. I do very little editing, I don't have any training in photoshop. Any editing that I do is was on my Macbook. I love the Northwest and the beautiful green backdrop that it provides!

A Little About Me

Since a very young age I have been drawn to the art of photography. Hiking the Cascade and Olympic mountains, with a camera always in tow, I would try out different ways to capture the beauty around me. Now, I have that same goal in mind, but rather than landscapes, I have moved more towards people. Taking photographs of my daughters, my permanent experimental models, I have tried to refine my skill. Now I am looking to branch out and move beyond my own children and learn how to work with a variety of subjects. After putting my photos on Facebook and a family blog I had several requests from family and close friends to take photos for them. It's been fun learning as I go. I am "self taught" in Photoshop elements. I am still learning how to use it... barely know how. Though I have to say, I love a photograph that needs no edits, not because I am no good at editing, but because I love that I captured exactly what I wanted to with my camera. I am always striving to expand and refine my skill set. I truly believe that photography is an art and love to share that art with others.
